REOs are often referred to as "Bank Owned" or "Lender Owned." REO sales continue at a pace faster than they are coming on the market. For instance, there are one fifth as many REOs actively for sale in Murrieta and Temecula now than at the beginning of the year. The selection is way down and the prices appear to be firming at least temporarily. Clean REO homes are getting multiple offers at over the asking price.
